Fit for Your Bottle Surface & Shape
Bottles with smooth, frosted or coated surfaces can be best printed with different adhesive systems. For example curved bottles or small-mouth sample vials need special consideration with label size and film flexibility and the chosen adhesive in order to prevent edge curling.
Before approval: Check a sample on the actual bottle for edge lift, bubbles and positioning after an agreed dwell period.
Protection Against Overspray & Handling
Alcohol or oils from perfume that come into contact with labels during daily use may affect the print quality, surface finish, or adhesive. It is important to consider the label’s face material, ink, protective coating, and adhesive as a whole, rather than relying solely on a waterproof film.
Before approval: Agree on contact and rub-test conditions using your actual formulation, then assess print changes and edge adhesion.

Matte Finishes & Decorative Details
The finish of a matte laminate can change how a label looks, by reducing surface glare and altering the appearance of colors and details under different lighting.To assess the texture of the various surface finishes please compare the standard matte finish with the soft-touch finish by viewing physical samples.
For transparent labels or foil stamping, please indicate which areas should be transparent, opaque or metallic.
- White ink: Mark the areas that need an opaque backing on transparent materials.
- Foil and embossing: Supply separate, clearly named artwork layers for the effects you require.
- Fine details: Have small text, thin lines and registration reviewed for the selected printing process.

Protective Finishes & Bottle Adhesion
The resistance to alcohol and essential oils of the film material only is not guaranteed and also has to be checked for the printing ink, for protective coatings, for adhesives as well as forthe edge area of the label.
In addition to the type of glass, the shape of the bottle also needs to be taken into account when choosing the right adhesive for smooth, frosted or coated surfaces. Thus, tests should be performed using the respective containers and not only on the basis of the chemical composition of the adhesives.

Screen Printing for Crisp Text and Intricate Details
Perfume bottles often have limited space for labels, so brand names, fine decorative patterns, and product details need to fit within a small area. When print resolution is insufficient, small text can become blurry, and complex graphics may lose their detail. Can perfume labels resist alcohol overspray and fragrance oils?
Suitable label constructions can be selected for expected overspray and handling, but performance depends on the fragrance formulation, contact time, ink, protective finish and adhesive. A waterproof film alone does not establish alcohol or fragrance-oil resistance.
Before bulk production, agree on test conditions using your actual fragrance and finished label. Check for print changes, surface damage and edge lifting.
How do I choose a clear label for my perfume bottle?
Clear BOPP and clear PET are options to evaluate for a transparent appearance. Compare the film and adhesive together on your bottle, including edge visibility, clarity and the appearance of printed areas.
Selective white ink can provide opacity behind text or colors while leaving other areas transparent. For frosted, coated or tightly curved bottles, confirm adhesion and appearance with the proposed construction on the actual container.
What is the difference between material samples and custom printed samples?
Material and finish samples help you compare appearance, texture and available effects. They may use different artwork or constructions from your final order.
A custom printed sample is produced for your project using the agreed artwork and specifications. Request the proposed label construction for bottle-application checks, and confirm any sample charges, shipping costs and timing before proceeding. A digital proof confirms artwork and layout; it does not verify adhesion or physical finish.
What is the MOQ, and can I order labels for several fragrances together?
Our starting MOQ is 1,000 labels. Confirm the applicable minimum for each design, material and finishing combination when requesting your quote.
For several fragrances or bottle sizes, provide the quantity per design, dimensions and artwork for each version. We can review the specifications together and quote the production arrangement. Do not assume the starting MOQ can be divided across multiple designs without confirmation.
What specifications do you need for machine-applied roll labels?
Provide the label width and height, gap between labels, roll core inner diameter, maximum roll outer diameter, winding direction and preferred quantity per roll. Include any liner or sensor requirements specified by your labeling equipment supplier.
A winding diagram and your machine specifications help avoid ambiguity. If you use separate front and back labels, identify both rolls and confirm their application sequence.
When does production start, and how are repeat orders confirmed?
Production timing is confirmed after the artwork, label construction, quantity, finishing and order requirements are approved. If a physical sample or bottle test is needed, allow time for that approval before scheduling bulk production. Shipping time is separate from production time.
For repeat orders, reference the previous order and approved sample. Confirm the artwork version, material and adhesive specification, finish, color reference and roll requirements. Any proposed changes should be reviewed before production.
