Food & Beverage Label Material Options
Choose from waterproof, tear-resistant, and eco-friendly materials designed for snacks, candy, and drink products
White BOPP
White BOPP is the most popular material for food and beverage labels.
Its bright white surface delivers vibrant print quality while offering excellent resistance to moisture, oils, and refrigeration.
Durable and difficult to tear, it is ideal for bottles, jars, cans, and retail food packaging.
Clear BOPP
BOPP labels are a type of film label that offers excellent flexibility and water resistance.
They adhere well to a wide variety of squeeze bottles, mineral water bottles and cold beverages.
With their “no-label” appearance, they clearly expose the contents of the package.
PET
PET labels provide exceptional durability and resistance to moisture, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations.
They are an excellent choice for refrigerated beverages, frozen foods, and products that require long-lasting label performance throughout storage and transportation.
Kraft Paper
Kraft paper labels offer a natural and traditional look that works well for organic, artisanal, and handmade food products.
Available in a variety of finishes and textures, they help brands communicate authenticity and sustainability.

Understanding Frozen Food Labels
Frozen food labels require special treatment to withstand the environments they are exposed to over long periods of time.
We should avoid using paper face materials and instead opt for BOPP or PET. Both of these materials offer superb weather resistance and tear resistance, and can tolerate repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
They can withstand low temperatures, humidity, and frequent temperature fluctuations without peeling off or becoming illegible.
In addition to the face material, the adhesive used for frozen food labels must be specifically designed for freezing. Unlike regular adhesives, these adhesives do not lose their tack even after prolonged exposure to temperatures between -25°C and -40°C.
These labels are applicable to frozen meals, seafood, meat, vegetables, ice cream, and other frozen food products.
In addition to the above points, the timing of labeling frozen foods is also critical. If the food is not yet frozen and its surface is dry when the label is applied, press firmly to ensure full contact between the label and the surface.
Leave the labels in place for at least 24 hours to allow the adhesive to cure completely before placing the items in cold storage.
Products like ice cream must be labeled while in cold storage; ordinary adhesives are completely ineffective in this scenario. Frozen Grade Adhesive must be used; otherwise, the labels will peel off regardless of the material.
